Lawn mowing frequency

A good lawn mowing schedule is about every second week in summer and spring perhaps two to five weeks apart in autumn and winter. Spring however may require more frequent mowing as the spring weather and climate may speed up growing cycles. Different types of grass will grow at different rates during different seasons. Keeping your grass at a regular length that is suitable for the type of grass will help avoid yellow, dried-out patches and reduce the cost and time associated with fertilizing and other upkeep. Grass will usually be a more lush and healthy look when it is a little longer but kept at a consistent length.
